Human Heart Explosion

Human Heart Explosion is a collection of poems that I wrote between 2019 and 2026. During that time, I went through a divorce, I lost my job, a plague ravaged the earth, and in that isolation and heartbreak, I came out as trans.

These poems are documents from this tumultuous period of my life. A time when I went from losing everything I had considered crucial parts of who I was, to rebuilding myself and my life from scratch.

I have collected them here to give both the poems and myself closure. They were written through heartbreak, fear, anxiety, but also joy, love, and euphoria. I’m so glad that I’m still here to share them with you.
